• Remove the cast-iron grill grates and
clean these thoroughly with soapy
water. Then dry off the cast-iron grill
grates thoroughly.
• Apply a thin layer of vegetable cooking
oil to the cast-iron grill grates after
cleaning.
• Use a wet sponge to remove loose
residue from the grill.
• Use a soft, clean cloth for drying. Do
not scratch the surfaces when wiping
them dry.
• Clean the internal and external surfaces
generally with warm soapy water.
• Tighten all screws before every use to
guarantee the stability of your grill at all
times.
• Protect your grill from persistent weather
conditions. Since it is manufactured
from steel it will eventually rust. Clean
possible rust spots and repair them with
fireproof paint.
• PLEASE NOTE: After some use, your
grill will acquire a patina. Should this
rusted look not appeal to you, you can
proceed as follows: Remove the rust by
means of a wire brush or rust-dissolving
gel.
You can then coat the surface with
oven paint (heat resistant up to at least
600°C). And your smoker will once
again shine like new!
• IMPORTANT: The grill should always
be stored somewhere where it is
protected from moisture.
