Remove the cold ashes. It is very
important that you remove the
ash from the BBQ chamber before
moisture combines with the cold
ash. Ash contains salt and affects
the inside of the ash collection tray
when damp. In this way, the BBQ
chamber can be damaged by rust
over the years.
Remove the BBQ grate and clean it
thoroughly with soapy water. Then dry
off the BBQ grate thoroughly.
After cleaning, coat the BBQ grate
and charcoal grate with a thin layer of
vegetable oil.
Use a wet sponge to remove loose
residue from the grill.
Use a soft, clean cloth for drying. Do
not scratch the surfaces when wiping
them dry.
Clean the internal and external surfaces
generally with warm soapy water.
Tighten all screws before every use to
guarantee stable footing for your BBQ
at all times.
Protect your BBQ against continuous
weather influences. Since it is
manufactured from steel it will
eventually rust. Clean possible rust
spots and repair them with oven paint.
IMPORTANT: The BBQ should always
be stored somewhere where it is
protected from moisture.
Important: The BBQ should be treated
with vegetable oil once a year: Before
grilling.
PLEASE NOTE: After some use, your
BBQ will acquire a patina. Should
this rusted look not appeal to you,
you can do the following: Remove
the rust by means of a wire brush
or rust-dissolving gel. You can then
coat the surface with oven paint
(heat resistant up to at least 600°C).
Disposal
The packaging is made from
environmentally friendly materials,
which you can dispose of at your
local recycling points.
Do not under any circumstance
dispose of the BBQ in normal
household waste! Dispose of it at
an approved disposal business
or at your community disposal
facility. Respect the currently valid
regulations. If in doubt, get in
touch with your disposal facility.
Declaration of conformity
This product is in compliance with
the applicable European and national
Directives (DIN EN 1860-1).
