Unpacking
Danger Risk to children!
While playing, children can be-
come caught in the packaging
film and choke.
Do not let children play with the pack-
aging films.
Make sure that children do not put any
small assembly parts into their mouths.
They could swallow the parts and
choke on them.
• Check the basket for completeness
after unpacking.
Assembling the fire basket
Important:
Assemble the fire basket as shown. All
nuts should be attached to screws from
the inner side of the basket.
Next, put together all parts using fasten-
ing elements, screws and nuts. Once all
parts have been assembled, tighten all
screws and nuts properly.
Danger Risk of being cut!
Sheet metal parts may have
sharp edges. Proceed carefully
during the assembly.
1. Attach the feet (2) with screws (4) and
nuts (5) to the bottom ring of the fire
basket.
2. Place the fire basket on the ash
tray (3).

mportant: All screws must be fas-
tened tight.
Installing the fire basket
Warning Risk of damage!
The screws and nuts may slow-
ly loosen during operation and
affect the basket stability.
Check whether the screws are
tight prior to each use. If neces-
sary, tighten all of the screws
again to ensure the basket
stands stable.
• Place the basket on an even, sturdy
surface outdoors before use.
• Have poker (C) ready to stoke the fire
or to distribute the charcoal.
Operation
Danger Burning hazard!
The fire basket charcoal or the
firewood located inside it be-
come very hot during opera-
tion, such that any contact with
these can lead to very severe
burns.
Keep away from hot parts as any
contact can cause severe burns.
Always wear heat-resistant barbecue
or kitchen gloves. (Glove Category
II with regard to heat protection, e.g.
DIN-EN 407)
Use only long-handled utensils with
heat-resistant grips.
Do not wear any clothing with wide
sleeves.
