Orgreenic Receptengids Tel Sell

CHILI MET DRIE BONENSOORTEN:
Een favoriet van iedereen, vooral bij koud weer. Makkelijk klaar te maken in grote en
kleine hoeveelheden.
Ingrediënten voor 4 porties:
2/3 kop gedroogde kidneybonen
2/3 kop gedroogde witte boontjes
2/3 kop gedroogde zwarte bonen
10 koppen koud water, gesplitst
1 middelgrote ui, gesnipperd
1 kleine groene paprika, gehakt
2 theelepels chilipoeder
½ theelepel gemalen komijnpoeder
1 laurierblaadje
2 blikken tomaten in blokjes, met chilipeper, niet uitgelekt
1 theelepel zeezout
1/3 kop tomatenpuree (± 85 gr)
geraspte cheddarkaas, zure room, gesnipperde rode ui (optioneel)
Bereiding:
Spoel de gedroogde bonen in een vergiet onder koud stromend water goed uit.
Bedek de bonen met 6 koppen water.
Laat de bonen een nacht weken.
Laat de bonen goed uitlekken.
Meng de bonen met de overige 4 koppen water, ui, paprika, chilipoeder, komijn
en laurier in een grote Orgreenic pan.
Zet de pan op hoog vuur en breng het soepmengsel aan de kook. Temper het
vuur dan tot middelhoog en laat het geheel 1½ uur onafgedekt zachtjes koken
onder af en toe roeren.
Verwijder het laurierblad, roer de tomaten, zout, peper en tomatenpuree door het
bonenmengsel.
Breng weer op hoog vuur aan de kook. Temper dan het vuur weer en laat
onafgedekt 15 minuten zachtjes koken onder af en toe roeren.
Serveer met geraspte cheddarkaas, zure room en ui, indien gewenst.
