Consejos para la Correcta Utilización del Horno
Funcionamiento en Microondas
Antes de utilizar cualquier recipiente, verifique si es el adecuado para hornos microondas (VER CONSEJOS
PARA LA UTILIZACION DE RECIPIENTES).
Haga siempre un corte en la cáscara de los alimentos antes de cocinarlos.
Cuando caliente líquidos, colóquelos en un recipiente de boca ancha, con el fin de que se produzca la
adecuada evaporación.
Recuerde que en microondas:
1. Cuanto mayor sea la cantidad de alimentos, mayor será el tiempo necesario para cocinarlos.
2. Cuanto más baja sea la temperatura de los alimentos, mayor será el tiempo necesario para
cocinarlos.
3. Los alimentos menos densos se preparan más rápidamente.
4. Una distribución perfecta de los alimentos en la base del horno garantiza una mejor uniformidad de
cocción. Disponiendo los alimentos más densos en un anillo exterior y los menos densos en el centro
del plato, se pueden cocinar varios tipos de alimentos simultáneamente.
5. Los alimentos deben dejarse reposar antes de servirlos, lo que mejora su cocción, ya que una vez
que se ha desconectado el horno, los alimentos continúan cociendo durante unos segundos.
6. Tapando los alimentos se consigue acortar el tiempo de cocción y retener los líquidos (los alimentos
no se deshidratan). Las tapas deben ser de material transparente a las microondas, y deberán tener
una pequeña salida para el vapor.
