Verifique frequentemente a tomada e a ficha de alimentação de modo a
garantir que têm um bom contacto, que têm uma boa ligação à terra e
não há sobreaquecimentos.
Se o termoacumulador não for utilizado por um longo período de tempo,
especialmente em regiões com temperaturas baixas (inferior a 0ºC), de
modo a prevenir danos devido à congelação da água no interior do
tanque, a água deve ser drenada do seu interior.
De modo a garantir que o termoacumulador funcione eficientemente a
longo prazo, sugerimos que limpe periodicamente o tanque interior e os
depósitos dos componentes do aquecimento elétrico deste termoacumula
Do mesmo modo sugerimos que verifique periodicamente os materiais de
proteção do ânodo (no mínimo uma vez por ano, sendo recomendável a
cada seis meses, caso o nível de dureza da água seja muito elevado).
Caso seja necessário substitua os materiais danificados.
Se o ânodo de magnésio do termoacumulador estiver desgastado ou dete
riorado, este deve ser substituído pelo nosso serviço de Assistência
Técnica.

Manutenção
A limpeza exterior do termoacumulador deve ser efetuada com água e
sabão. Em caso algum deverá utilizar produtos abrasivos ou solventes.
Durante o período de garantia, a manutenção terá de ser realizada pelo
Serviço de Assistência Técnica oficial da TEKA. O incuprimento desta
indicação invalidará os termos da garantia do seu termoacumulador.

O nível de dureza da água, recomendada para um correto funcionamento
do termoacumulador, não deve exceder os 120mg/l de CaCo3. Em caso de
valores superiores, recomenda-se a utilização de descalcificadores (pode
consultar a dureza da água junto da companhia de água da sua
cidade).Qualquer falha devido a depósitos originados por uma má
qualidade da água, não será abrangida pela garantia.
