Precauções
A tomada deve estar ligada à terra corretamente. A corrente nominal não
deve ser inferior a 10A. Quer a tomada, quer a ficha devem ser mantidas
secas de modo a prevenir fugas elétricas. Verifique periodicamente se há
bom contacto entre a tomada e a ficha. O método de inspeção é o seguinte:
insira a ficha na tomada, decorrida meia hora, desligue o termoacumulador
e verifique se a ficha está muito quente. Em caso afirmativo (superior a
50ºC) ligue a outra tomada pois pode resultar em danos pessoais ou mate-
riais devido a um mau contacto.

Diagnóstico de falhas devido ao excesso de temperatura: quando o sensor
detecta que a temperatura dentro do tanque ultrapassa os 90 graus, as
cinco luzes indicativas acendem ao mesmo tempo, indicando a falha.
Diagnóstico de falhas do sensor: quando o sensor não funciona, a luz dos
indicadores de temperatura começa a piscar, sucessivamente.

Nos locais ou paredes onde a água pode salpicar, a altura da instalação da
tomada não deve ser inferior a 1.80m.

A válvula de segurança de uma via deve ser instalada à entrada de água
fria do termoacumulador (ver Fig.6)

5. Na primeira utilização (ou se está utilizar após a limpeza ou manutenção),
o termoacumulador não pode ser ligado até estar completamente cheio de
água. Ao encher a água, pelo menos uma das válvulas de saída deve estar
aberta para a saída de ar. Esta válvula pode ser fechada após o termoacu--
mulador estar cheio de água.
A parede, onde o termoacumulador vai ser instalado, deverá ter condições
para suportar uma carga duas vezes superior ao termoacumulador cheio de
água, sem deformações e fissuras. deverão ser adotadas outras medidas
de reforço.
