Het apparaat functioneert zodra de stekker in een stopcontact is
gestoken.
Voor het model Ovation met een thermostaat: De thermostaat bevindt zich onder de
houten handgreep aan de zijkant van het apparaat

Het apparaat zonder de pannetjes laten voorverwarmen.
Thermo-Spot
TM
(afhankelijk van model): zodra het apparaat goed is voorverwarmd wordt
het Thermo-Spot signaal effen rood: het bakken kan beginnen ( ).
Het grillen
Na de voorverwarming is het apparaat gereed voor gebruik:
• Voor de raclette-functie
legt elke gebruiker een plak kaas in het pannetje voordat deze
onder de bakplaat wordt geplaatst.
Afhankelijk van het model, kunt u met een opbergrek de lege pannetjes tijdens de maaltijd
onder het apparaat zetten

Laat de pannetjes nooit in het apparaat staan wanneer deze leeg zijn.
• Met de grillplaat
kunt u kleine stukjes vlees of uw bijkomende gerechten van de raclette
(bacon, champignons, uien, saucijsjes…) bakken ( ).
Afhankelijk van het model, kunt u tevens flensjes bakken.
Om het voordeel van het niet aanbakken van de grillplaat te bewaren moet u altijd een
kunststof spatel gebruiken.
Bij het eerste gebruik kan het apparaat een lichte geur verspreiden en wat rook afgeven.
Raak de verhitte oppervlakken van het apparaat niet aan.
Voor het model Ovation:
Indien u het apparaat wenst te verplaatsen wanneer het nog warm is dient u daarvoor
uitsluitend de houten handgrepen aan de zijkant te gebruiken

Na gebruik
• Modellen met een aan/uit-schakelaar:
Zet de schakelaar op uit: het controlelampje gaat uit.
• Modellen met een thermostaat:
Zet de thermostaat op de uit-stand.
Neem dan het snoer uit het stopcontact en verwijder (afhankelijk van het model) het
snoer uit het apparaat. Laat het apparaat afkoelen.
Houd tijdens het afkoelen kinderen uit de buurt van het apparaat.
