PIZZA DOUGH
Ingredients (makes enough dough for 2 pizza crusts):
• 330 g flour
• 3 g salt
• 3 g baker’s yeast
• 2 g sugar
• 235 g lukewarm water (43°C)
• 3 g lard
ADJUSTMENT OF THE WHISK, DOUGH HOOK AND MIXER
The distance from the accessory to the bottom of the bowl is prefixed
from the factory. If desired this distance can be adjusted:
1. Turn off the kitchen machine and unplug it.
2. Raise the mixer head and insert the accessory.
3. Hold the accessory with one hand while loosening
the nut by means of an adjustable spanner or
wrench.
4. Lower the mixer head and adjust the height by
turning the shaft. Ideally the accessory should
just barely touch the bottom of the bowl.
5. Raise the mixer head, hold the accessory and tighten the nut.
Mixtures containing large amounts of liquid must be processed at low
speed to avoid splashing. Increase speed when the mixture has thickened.
Switch off the kitchen machine regularly to scrape down the sides using
a rubber spatula.
If by mistake something gets stuck in the tool, or the motor stops, turn
off the appliance using the speed selector and remove the plug from
the power socket. Solve the problem or reduce the amount of food in
the bowl. Allow the motor to cool off for 5 minutes before the kitchen
machine is switched on again.
Use the whisk for whipping egg whites, cream, and mayonnaise. Never
use the whisk for thick mixtures such as dough and mashed potatoes.
