Arome i začini: neki od dodatnih sastojaka mogu da se stave u dozer (1)
i na početku pripreme recepta: orašasti plodovi, semenke, suvo grožđe,
čokoladni čips, suvo voće, bilje. Budite oprezni: neki sastojci ne mogu se
stavljati u dozer, jer bi se mogli zalepiti na zidove dozatora, npr. masni i
vlažni sastojci, kao što su sir i šunka. Te sastojke možete da stavite direktno
u posudu za hleb na početku pripreme recepta.

Mleko
Koju vrstu mleka mogu da koristim?
Možete da koristite sve vrste mleka (na primer kravlje mleko, kozje mleko,
ovčje mleko, sojino mleko ili druga biljna mleka). Konzistencija jogurta
može da varira, u zavisnosti od korišćenog mleka. Sirovo mleko, dugotrajna
mleka i sva dole opisana mleka, pogodna su za upotrebu u aparatu:
Sterilizovano dugotrajno mleko: punomasno UHT mleko daje čvršći
jogurt. Delimično obrano mleko daje manje čvrsti jogurt. Alternativno
možete da koristite delimično obrano mleko i dodate 1 ili 2 kašike mleka
u prahu.
Punomasno mleko: ovo mleko daje kremastiji jogurt sa tankim slojem
"kože" na vrhu.
Sirovo mleko (sa farme): ovu vrstu mleka potrebno je prethodno
prokuvati. Preporučujemo da mleko kuvate dovoljno dugo vremena.
Mleko zatim treba ohladiti pre stavljanja u aparat.
Mleko u prahu: ova vrsta mleka daje veoma kremasti jogurt. Uvek se
pridržavajte uputstava proizvođača navedenih na ambalaži.

Sredstvo za fermentaciju može da bude:
Običan jogurt kupljen u prodavnici, sa najkasnijim istekom roka trajanja
koji je dostupan.
Liolizovano sredstvo za fermentaciju ili mlečne kulture. U tom
slučaju, pridržavajte se trajanja aktivacije navedenog u uputstvu
proizvođača sredstva za fermentaciju. Ta sredstva mogu se naći u
supermarketima, apotekama i nekim prodavnicama zdrave hrane.
Neki od vaših jogurta koje ste pripremili – to mora da bude obični
jogurt, najsvežiji mogući. Taj se proces naziva "kultura".
