GEBRUIK VAN HET STOOMMANDJE

De kooktijden zijn ter indicatie gegeven, ze

bieden doorgaans voldoende tijd voor een

geslaagde bereiding.

Toch zullen bepaalde omstandigheden de kooktijd

beïnvloeden:

- de grootte van de groenten (gesneden of niet

gesneden)

- de hoeveelheid ingrediënten in het mandje

- de variëteit van de groenten, hun rijpheid

- de hoeveelheid water in de kom, die moet

overeenstemmen met de graadverdeling (0,7 l).

Vergeet niet om de stoomregeldop naar u toe te

draaien tot in de hoge stoomstand (a).

Als de kooktijd onvoldoende blijkt, kunt u nog

wat extra tijd toevoegen.

U kunt de manuele modus ook gebruiken door de temperatuur van 130 °C en de kooktijd te

kiezen op basis van de hoeveelheid en het type ingrediënten: zie tabel hierna.

Tijdens bepaalde bereidingen worden luchtbelletjes gevormd en kan de kom overlopen. Wees

vooral voorzichtig als u diepvriesgroenten gebruikt. Gebruik kleinere hoeveelheden om overlopen

te voorkomen.
