Standby/on switch [8]
Press to switch the unit from on to standby mode or vice versa.
In standby mode, the unit is still consuming a small amount of
power.
[SPEAKERS, A, B]
For selecting speakers A or B.
Turning the speakers off automatically engages the STEREO
mode (when listening through headphones, for example).
If your speakers have an impedance under 6 Ω
Press and hold [A] or [B] until “LOW IMP” lights up on the display.
Note that when “LOW IMP” is on, SPEAKERS A and B cannot be
used at the same time.
[DVD 6CH INPUT]
For switching between 6-channel and 2-channel DVD input.
When you select DVD 6CH, SOURCE DIRECT mode is on.
[PHONES]
Headphone jack
Plug type: 6.3 mm stereo
Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent hearing
damage.
Turn the speakers off when using the headphones.
[DSP SOUND MODE]
For selecting “STEREO”, “SURROUND” or “SFC”.
[DOLBY PRO LOGIC

For selecting a Dolby Pro Logic 2 mode: MOVIE, MUSIC or PANORAMA.
Use when “DOLBY PRO LOGIC 2” lights in the SURROUND mode.
[NEO:6]
For selecting a DTS NEO:6 mode: CINEMA or MUSIC.
Use when “NEO:6” lights in the ENHANCED SURROUND mode.
[ENHANCED SURROUND]
For turning on the enhanced surround mode. The indicator lights
when the mode is on.

[HQ SOUND MODE]
For selecting the HQ sound mode. The indicator lights when the
mode is on.
[RE-MASTER]
For selecting a re-master mode. The indicator lights while a re-
master mode is on.
[SOURCE DIRECT]
For selecting a source direct mode.
Standby indicator [

When the unit is connected to the AC mains supply, this indicator
lights up in standby mode and goes out when the unit is turned on.
