Switch on the deep fat fryer, the green light and red „ ‟ light will be illuminated. When
the deep fat fryer has reached the temperature required the „ ‟ light will go out. The
thermostat will cycle on and off during use to keep the oil temperature constant. The „
light will also cycle on and off.
When the fryer has reached the desired temperature, raise the basket by moving the
handle upwards until you hear a „click‟. Now open the lid. Place the food into the basket
slowly to avoid splashes.
Close the lid. Pull the button on the handle, this releases the handle and allows you to
lower the basket fully into the oil.
Use the viewing window to check the food. When the food is ready, raise the basket by
using the handle and let the food drain.
Warning : Show care when opening the lid as hot steam may be omitted.
Ensure the food is thoroughly cooked inside and out.
Always switch off and unplug the deep fat fryer after use.
CLEANING
Unplug the deep fat fryer.
Wait until the unit is completely cool before cleaning.
Follow the section „ Dismantling the deep fat fryer‟.
Do not use strong detergents or abrasive cloths/liquid as this will damage the deep fat
fryer. Clean the fryer with warm soapy water. It may help to soak the parts for a short time.
Thoroughly dry all parts. Check that the plug/pins on the bowl are completely dry.
Change the oil regularly.
Change the anti-odour filter regularly.
Clean your deep fat fryer regularly. This will prolong the life of your deep fat fryer.

STORING
Wait until the deep fat fryer is completely cool before storing.
The unit can be stored with the oil inside. Ensure the lid is tightly closed to avoid dust
getting into the oil.
FOR BEST RESULTS
Always dry food well before frying. Very „wet‟ food can cause the oil to „foam‟ and may
overflow.
Food for frying should be roughly of the same size to ensure the food cooks evenly and
thoroughly.
Many types of food may need to be coated before frying - typical coatings are batter or
breadcrumbs.
Always wait until the fryer has reached the desired temperature and the „ ‟ light has
gone out, before adding the food.
Do not overfill the basket.
