First operation of your WAP-R8900
For the first steps, the WAP-R8900 start wizard shall assist you:
After first power on, the system will ask by a screen with flags for your preferred
operation language. Select the language by selecting the country flag with
UP/DOWN and LEFT/RIGHT buttons and then press OK.
Now the system shall reboot and welcome you in your preferred language.
The start wizard now will ask you for time zone, daylight saving time, wlan, he scans
for available wlans and requires your WEP-key. Then you will be back to the main
menu.
If the above settings do not fully meet your system, yuo can leave the wizard by the
„HOME“ button and call the „Settings“ menu by pushing on the HOME button again,
to do your settings manually.
Infrared remote control
The provided infrared remote control offers you comfortable control of your
WAP-R8900 even from a distance of several meters. Many keys on the RC provide
a direct function choice.
Battery insertion:
● Unlock the battery cover of the infrared remote control's backside by little
pressing down the inner end of the battery cover and shifting out the cover.
Now inserting the battery will be easy.
● Please care for the correct polarity of the battery, like mentioned in the
battery compartment! The marked side of the battery (+3V) is the positive
pole, which has to be still visible if the battery is placed correctly.
● Push-in the battery cover until you have recognized, it has locked again.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is replaced incorrectly.
Replace only with the same or equivalent battery type.
