Hoofdstuk 3: DSM op DiskStation installeren
Na voltooien van de hardware-installatie moet het besturingssysteem DiskStation Manager (DSM) op uw
DiskStation worden geïnstalleerd voor u het kunt gebruiken. Er zijn twee installatiemethodes.
De meest praktische methode is DSM te installeren vanuit de webbrowser met behulp van de online Web
Assistant. De Web Assistant-methode zal automatisch de meest recente software-updates downloaden van het
internet. U kunt echter ook gebruikmaken van Synology Assistant om DSM te installeren via een
desktoptoepassing.
Zodra u hebt uitgemaakt met welke methode u wilt verdergaan, volgt u de stappen in dit hoofdstuk om DSM te
installeren op uw DiskStation. Nadat DSM is geïnstalleerd, kunt u alle functies van uw DiskStation beheren door
u via een webbrowser aan te melden bij DSM.
DSM installeren vanuit de webbrowser
Uw DiskStationmodel is standaard uitgerust met een ingebouwd hulpprogramma Web Assistant dat u helpt bij
de configuratie en installatie van het DSM-besturingssysteem. Raadpleeg de stappen in het onderstaande
gedeelte.
1 Schakel DiskStation in en maak een verbinding met het internet.
2 Ga naar find.synology.com via de webbrowser van uw computer.
3 Web Assistant wordt opgestart in uw webbrowser. Het zal uw DiskStation in het LAN vinden. De status van uw
DiskStation moet Niet geïnstalleerd zijn.
4 Klik op Verbinden om het installatieproces te starten. Volg de instructies op het scherm om de
installatieprocedure te voltooien.
Opmerking:
1. Voorgestelde browers: Chrome, Firefox.
2. DiskStation en de computer moeten verbonden zijn met hetzelfde LAN.
3. Er moet een internetverbinding beschikbaar zijn tijdens de installatie van DSM met Web Assistant.
