10.6 Restoring the default settings

This function resets the handset and base station settings to their status on leaving the

factory. I f you f orget or lose t he P IN code, reset the default settings as described in

Chapter 10.7.

Default settings:

Calls list: Em pty

Flash time: 2 (100 ms)

Redialling list: Empty Dialling pause: 4 (3 sec)

Phone book: Empty Language: English

PIN code: 0000 Key tone: On

Time: 12:00 Battery warning signal: On

Date: 01-01 Range warning signal: On

Receiver volume: 4 Handset name: DECT

External ringing melody,

handset: 2

Automatic answering: OFF

Internal ringing melody,

handset: 3

Ringing melody ,

base station: 3

Ringing volume, handset: 4 Ringing volume,

base station: 4

Proceed as follows to restore the default settings on the base station and handset:

1. Press the Menu button

" and use the ( or ) button to select the BASE

menu. Confirm by pressing the " button.

2. Select the

DEFAULT menu and confirm with the " button.

3. Enter the current PIN code (default setting: 0000).

4. Cancel the reset process by pressing the

! button.

5. Confirm b y pressing the

" button. The default settings are then restored and

the display indicates S tandby mode.
