6.2 Editing entries in the phone book

All the names and phone numbers s tored in the phone book can be modified as necessary.

1. Press the Menu button

" and use the ( or ) button to select the

PHONEBOOK menu. Confirm b y pressing the " but ton.

2. Select the

EDIT menu and confirm by pressing the " button. The ent ries stored

in the phone book are displayed in alphabetical order.

3. Select the entry you want to change. Confirm the selection by pressing the

" button. The name stored appears in t he display.

4. Modify the name using the d igit keys.

Note: F or i nformation on entering names, refer to Chapter 6.1.2.

5. After completing the required changes, confirm them by pressing the

" button.

6. Modify the phone number using t he digit keys. Press the

/ butto n briefly to

delete the individual digits in t he phone number .

7. After completing the required changes, confirm them by pressing the

" button.

8. To edit more entries, repeat steps 2 to 7.

6.3 Deleting entries from the phone book

In order to create memory space in the phone book again, individual entries can be deleted

from it.

1. Press the Menu button

" and use the ( or ) button to select the

PHONEBOOK menu. Confirm b y pressing the " but ton.

2. Select the

DELETE menu and confirm with the " button. The entries stored in

the phone book are displayed in alphabetical order.

3. Select the phone book entry you want to delete. Confirm by pressing the

" button. The stored phone number appear s in t he display.

Press the

" button.

Note: T he deletion p rocess is cancelled by pressing the

/ button.

4. Confirm b y pressing the

" button. The phone book entry is deleted.

5. To delete more entries, repeat steps 2 to 4.
