Telephoning
Accepting / ending a telephone call
When the telephone rings, pick up the receiver to accept the call. To end the call,
replace the receiver.
Dialling
Pick up the receiver and wait for the dial tone.
To dial a number, you have three options:
Enter the number using the numeric keys.
Press one of the direct-dial keys M1 M3 (Note: You must have previously pro-
grammed a number on this direct-dial key).
Press the quick-dial key and, subsequently, the key for the desired memory
space (Note: You must have previously programmed a number in this memory
space).
Repeat dialling
Pick up the receiver and press the key for repeat dialling. Your telephone now dials
the last telephone number that you entered.
During the conversation: Deactivate the microphone (mute)
Mute key
If you do not wish that your caller should hear something on the telephone, because
you e.g. must make an inquiry in the room, you can deactivate the microphone.
Press the switch to mute key and keep it pressed for as long as the caller on the
telephone should not hear you.
Hold key
If you press the hold key during a conversation, the microphone is deactivated and
your caller hears a melody.
To continue the conversation, again press the hold key .
