1. Voedingsaansluiting: op deze ingang moet u de meegeleverde voedingsadapter aansluiten. Als u de adapter kwijt bent, kunt u deze
vervangen door een vergelijkbaar model met een uitgangsspanning van 9 volt en een nominale stroomsterkte van
1,2 ampère.
2. Aan/uit-knop: Met deze knop kunt u de stroomtoevoer naar de router in- en uitschakelen.
3. WAN-poort: op deze poort moet u de netwerkkabel van uw ISP-modem aansluiten. Wanneer er een WAN-verbinding tot stand
is gebracht, gaat het WAN-lampje aan de voorkant van de router branden. Zonder deze verbinding hebt u geen
toegang tot internet.
4. LAN poorten 1 - 4: op deze poort kunt u een netwerkkabel van een computer aansluiten. Wanneer u de computer inschakelt, gaat het
betreffende lampje aan de voorkant van de router branden.
De router installeren
U kunt de router op twee manieren installeren:
• De eenvoudige installatie die in deze gebruiksaanwijzing wordt beschreven.
• De geavanceerde installatie die eveneens in deze gebruiksaanwijzing wordt beschreven.
Bij het uitvoeren van de wizard en de eenvoudige installatie worden de standaardinstellingen geconfigureerd; deze instellingen zijn voor de
meeste gebruikers toereikend. Als u een ervaren gebruiker bent of als u weet welke installatiemethode is vereist voor uw ISP, kunt u direct
doorgaan naar de geavanceerde installatie.
