The power level can be increased by turning the knob
clockwise. The power levels are:
POWER OUTPUT DESCRIPTION
(Percent of Total Capacity)
1 18 Low
2 36 Defrosting
3 58 Medium
4 81 Medium High
5 100 High
GRILLING
If the knob is turned clockwise beyond the highest
power level of the microwave the unit switches to grill
mode, which is especially good for thin slices of meat,
steaks, chops, kebab, sausages or chicken parts. The
grill can also be used for baking rolls and for gratina-
ting food dishes.
COMBINATION MODE
As the name says, this mode combines microwave
cooking with grilling. As you can see in the following
table, the mode is subdivided into three levels with
differing combinations. These are especially for specific
foods and cooking processes as well as for the crisp
quality which people often enjoy in some foods.
This table shows three different settings for combination
programs.

close the door.
• Turn the power selector to select the power level.
• Use the timer to set the cooking time.
NOTE:
The unit will start cooking as soon as you set the timer.
If the cooking time lasts less than 2 minutes, first set the
timer for more than 2 minutes and then turn it back to
the cooking time you need.
WARNING:
If you want to switch off the unit during cooking, or to
remove food from the unit before the set cooking time
has run out, turn the timer to zero first. Then open the
door using the door opener. Make sure that the timer is
always set to zero when the unit is not in use.
CLEANING AND CARE
• WARNING! Turn off the unit and remove the power
plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
• Always keep the inside of the unit clean. If spat-
tering from food or spilled liquids still to the walls
of the unit, wipe them off with a damp cloth. If the
unit is heavily soiled, you can use a mild detergent.
Avoid using sprays or other harsh cleansers which
can damage the door, scratch surfaces or dull the
finish.
• The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp
cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts
inside the unit, water should not be allowed to seep
into the ventilation openings.
• Wipe the door and the window on both sides.
Clean the door seals and the adjacent parts fre-
quently with a damp cloth to remove any residues
and spattering. Do not use any abrasive cleanser.
• The control panel must not get wet. Clean it with a
soft, damp cloth. WARNING! Pull the plug to pre-
vent the unit from being accidentally switched on.
