6.2 Alarm Levels
The monitor’s physiologic alarms are classified into three categories according to the severity of the alarm issue.
High level alarms: Indicate that the patient is in a life-threatening situation and an emergency treatment is necessary.
This is the highest level alarm.
Medium level alarms: Indicate that the patient’s vital signs appear abnormal and an immediate treatment is required.
Low level alarms: Indicate that the patient’s vital signs appear abnormal and an immediate treatment may be
required.
The monitor’s technical alarms are classified into three categories: high level, medium level and low level. Technical
alarm levels are predefined at the factory and can’t be changed by users.
The alarm levels are as follows:
