N Retourner le guide-chaîne – après
chaque affûtage de la chaîne et
après chaque remplacement de la
chaîne – pour éviter une usure
unilatérale, surtout sur la tête de
renvoi et sur la partie inférieure ;
N nettoyer régulièrement l'orifice
d'entrée d'huile (1), le canal de
sortie d'huile (2) et la rainure du
guide-chaîne (3) ;
N mesurer la profondeur de la rainure
– à l'aide de la jauge du calibre
d'affûtage (accessoire optionnel) –
dans la zone du guide-chaîne où
l'on constate la plus forte usure des
portées.
Si la profondeur de la rainure n'atteint
pas au moins la valeur minimale :
N remplacer le guide-chaîne.
Sinon, les maillons de guidage et
d'entraînement frottent sur le fond de la
rainure – le pied des dents et les
maillons intermédiaires ne portent pas
sur les surfaces de glissement du guide-
chaîne.
N Nettoyer régulièrement les fentes
d'admission d'air de refroidissement
à l'aide d'un pinceau sec ou d'un
outil similaire.
