Care
Clean the saddle regularly with water and a so cloth. If heavily soiled, a commercially available rinsing or cleaning agent and warm
water can also be used.
Warning
Never use high pressure cleaners, cleaning cloths or sponges with particularly rough or grainy surfaces, solvents or other aggressive
cleaning agents such as acetone, (nitro) thinner, mineral spirits or trichlorethylene for cleaning. This could damage the cover of the
saddle, the saddle shell and the material of the struts.
Note
Note
Noises such as creaking, crackling, squeaking are annoying and the cause is usually dicult to gure out. The most common
cause of noises from the saddle area is the saddle clamping. Make absolutely sure that the clamping surfaces of the seat post
and the clamping area of the seat stays are free from dirt. However, the connection between the seat post and frame to the bot-
tom bracket oen makes a noise. The connection of the struts to the saddle can also cause noise. Lightly spraying oil or creep
oil in the space between saddle stays - saddle shell helps. It is usually the rear linkage that is causing noises. Oiling must be
repeated approximately every  trips at rst. Aer some time, no noise should be produced even without regular lubrication.
To nd out the actual cause of the noise, it is recommended to only oil the front or the rear connection between saddle strut and
saddle shell at rst.
