NOTES FOR SETTING UP AND SAFE USE OF THE

around by its power cord.
8. The only parts of the appliance that
can be removed and cleaned in the
dishwasher are the stainless-steel
casing and the pump cap. The other
parts of the appliance are not dis-
hwasher-safe.
9. Do not use the appliance if it is
clearly damaged.
10. Device and power cords must not
be used on or close to hot surfaces.
11. Unwind the cable completely before
using the device. The cable must
not hang down over the edge of the
tabletop.
12. Never leave the device unsupervised
when it is plugged in.
13. Incorrect repairs can result in dan-
ger to the user and the forfeiture of
the warranty. If parts are damaged,
they must be replaced by the ma-
nufacturer, an authorised technician
or a similarly qualified person.

vertically to the pot or container.
2. The device must not be used in
proximity of other heat sources e.g.
gas ovens, electric stoves etc.
3. Only water may be heated with the
device. Other liquids could damage
the device.
4. Consider the marks for minimum
and maximum liquid capacity when
filling the container or pot to avoid
damage on the device.
5. Hygiene is crucial for Sous Vide
cooking; consider all basic notes
regarding safe processing of
ingredients and the temp-
erature notes, cooking times and
recommen dations.
6. During and after use only touch
the device at the handle. Danger of
burnings!
7. Always pull the plug before cleaning
or moving the device.
8. Let the device cool down before
cleaning, touching or storing.
9. The pot or container and the heated
water can lead to burnings – use a
cloth to move the pot and he-
at-resistant kitchen tool to remove
ingredients from the pot.
