1) Press the POWER button to turn the unit on.
2) Select the CD FUNCTION button.
The CD Disc tray will turn to check if any discs are present.
If no discs are in the tray, NO DISC will appear in the displa
y.
3) Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc compartment.
The CD tray will open, exposing the right and left disc holders. The third disc holder will remain
in the unit. To expose the third disc holder, press one of the DISC No. buttons.
4) When the CD Compartment has opened, remove a disc from its case and place it carefully in
the CD tray with the label side facing up.
5) Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc compartment.
This unit will allow you to open the disc tray whilst in the PLAY mode to allow you to load another
one or two discs without interrupting play by playing the DISC CHANGE button.
The disc compartment may be opened at any time by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button.
Remove the CD's only after the compartment has fully opened.
Press the Disc changer button and the trays will turn clockwise automatically allowing the
removal of the discs.
Normal Playback
Press the CD function button.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc compartment.
Press the DISC Changer button to select the Disc.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc compartment.
After the disc number, total number of tracks and playing time is displayed, press the PLAY/PAUSE
button to start play. The first track will begin to play and the CD will then play all tracks on all
discs, when mo
re than one CD is loaded. At the end of the disc, the unit will switch to STOP
mode.
Important Information
This compact disc player has built-in er
ror compensation circuits to correct minor defects in
a disc. The
re are limits, however, to the amount of correction available.
In some cases, the CD player may skip some tracks on a disc dur
ing disc play. This problem
may be caused by defects (such as scratches) in the disc being
played, which a
re too large for
the er
ror compensation circults to handle. If you encounter this problem, check the CD players
operation as follows befo
re having the unit serviced.
Play a new disc. If the CD player operates normall
y, the skipping problem is probably due to a
defective disc or dirty disc.
To Stop a CD Part Way Through
Press the STOP button. Disc play will stop, and the display will show the total number of tracks
and the total playing time for the CD.
To temporarily stop disc play ( PAUSE mode), press the PLAY/PAUSE button. Disc play will
pause at the cur
rent play position.
To resume disc play, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
