Tips for preparing food
Always add the liquid ingredients to the blender first, if it is not specified otherwise in the recipe.
Cut solid food (vegetables, fruit, cheese, cooked meat, fish, and seafood) into pieces of about 2cm in size. Do
not overload the motor with too hard or too large ingredients. If the motor stalls, switch the blender to “0”
(middle position; OFF) to prevent overheating.
(See faultfinding help on page 12.)
Process the ingredients for only a few seconds. It is better to check the consistency of the contents from time to
time, rather than obtaining too fine, possibly mushy contents.
With the two speeds and the PULSE setting, you can prepare different ingredients easily, variedly, and quickly.
Select the speed setting
Simply set the On/Off switch to the required speed setting 1 or 2 (see the following table). The most suitable
speed is determined by the consistency of the ingredients.
You can operate the PULSE button in the switch position “0” (middle position; OFF). The motor runs for as long
as the PULSE button is pressed. On releasing the PULSE button the motor stops. You can then press the PULSE
button again. Note: the PULSE button only functions when the On/Off switch is in the “0” position.
