Tip: To prevent vigorous splashes and dusting, e.g. caused by flour, we recom-
mend fully submerging the egg whisks resp. dough hooks in the ingredients
before switching the mixer on. For the same reason, switch the appliance off
before taking the attachments out of the stirred ingredients.
Always start in the lowest speed and only increase the speed after the dry ingre-
dients have been mixed in. When making heavy dough, we recommend using a
higher speed.
Removing the dough hooks / egg whisks:
1. Switch the appliance off after mixing or kneading with the ON/OFF switch and
pull the power plug.
2. Push the release button (A) to release the egg whisks resp. the dough hooks.
Caution: Never push the release button (A) while the appliance is in handheld
mixer mode!
USING THE HANDHELD MIXER
If the stirring tools have been correctly inserted into the motor unit, you can start
using the appliance.
1. Put the ingredients into a suitable mixing bowl. Place the mixing bowl on a dry,
even, stable, slip-safe and moisture resistant work surface.
2. Completely unwind the power cord and plug the power plug into a suitable
power outlet.
3. Place the food in the mixing bowl.
4. Dip the stirring tools vertically into the mixing bowl and into the ingredients and
push the ON/OFF switch to the position I. The stirring tools start rotating.
5. The current speed is indicated on the LCD screen. You can increase or decrease
the speed with the + resp. button. You can choose from 16 speed settings.
Each press of the button increases resp. decreases speed by one step. If you keep
the button pressed, the steps are quickly counted up or down. The current speed
is indicated on the screen.
The operation time is counted up in seconds and minutes on the LCD screen.
Note: After 9 minutes and 59 seconds, the display automatically switches back to
00 seconds and the appliance switches off automatically.
6. To switch the appliance off, push the ON/OFF button back to position 0.
7. Always wait for the stirring tools to come to a complete standstill before taking
them out of the stirred ingredients.
8. Pull the power plug from the socket.
Caution: Use the mixer for a maximum of 5 minutes without interruption. After
5 minutes, you should let the motor cool down.
