8 LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
4 Coloque la tapa en la freidora, para evitar salpicaduras, y gire el mando
regulador de la temperatura (3) a 150º C para que la grasa se
reblandezca lentamente. Si lo desea puede subir la temperatura cuando
la grasa se haya fundido.
5 LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Z Espere a que el aceite se enfríe completamente antes de proceder a su
desmontaje y limpieza. Desconecte la freidora de la red.
1 El cestillo, la tapa y la cuba pueden lavarse, bien con agua jabonosa o
bien en el lavavajillas.
2 El cuerpo principal puede limpiarse con un paño húmedo.
3 Coloque de nuevo todos los elementos, teniendo en cuenta que deben
estar bien secos antes de colocarlos.
6 CONSEJOS PRACTICOS
1 Los alimentos deben estar perfectamente secos antes de sumergirlos
en aceite o grasa.
2 Para evitar que las patatas se peguen, lávelas antes de freírlas.
3 Si la freidora no va a ser utilizada de forma continuada, es conveniente
que el aceite o la grasa liquida se guarde en recipientes bien cerrados
en el frigorífico o en un lugar fresco. Antes de ello, extraiga las partículas
sueltas que de los alimentos fritos hayan podido desprenderse y estén
en el aceite valiéndose de un colador.
4 Sustituya el aceite cuando presente una coloración oscura, mal olor o
mal sabor en los alimentos. No añada nunca aceite o grasa frescos al
ya usado.
5 No deje el aceite/grasa a una temperatura elevada más tiempo de lo
necesario.
6 Guarde siempre la freidora con la tapa cerrada para evitar que el polvo
u otros elementos deterioren el aceite o grasa.
7 El aceite o grasa desechados no deben ser arrojados por el WC o el
fregadero. Deposítelos en un recipiente cerrado y llévelos a un
contenedor de residuos adecuado.
