3. TOP
We advise using the longest position, number 13 (22 mm approx.).
Begin cutting from the FRONT of the head and gradually move towards the
BACK (Fig.3).
Remember that it is better to leave the hair a bit longer in the first haircuts
until you get used to the length of each position.
Lift the lock of hair to be cut using the comb Fig.1 (8) or your fingers and
cut above them. Always start from the front backwards, gradually cutting
the hair shorter. Comb it frequently to detect any irregularities of length and
to remove hair you have already cut.
4. FINISHING TOUCH
To achieve a straight line at the sideburns and around the ears, remove the
comb accessory Fig.1 (1), hold the clipper at a right angle to the head,
upside down with the blades touching the skin, and move it downwards.
We remind you that using the hair clipper without the comb accessory Fig.1
(1) will crop the hair.
FOR LONG HAIR
Remove the comb accessory from the clipper, comb and untangle the hair.
Separate the hair with a straight line across the head from ear to ear and
hold the front part with clips so that it does not get in your way (Fig.4).
Split the hair at the back of the head into three horizontal sections. Use clips
to hold the upper layers (Fig.5).
Begin by cutting the bottom layer of hair, marking the desired length with
the comb Fig.1 (8) and cut it using the hair clipper, always below the comb.
Once you have cut this layer, do the same with the other two. To cut the
front of the hair, part it in the usual place and repeat the same operation as
with the back. Remember that the hair should be well combed at all times.
CUTTING THE FRINGE
Wet the fringe and part it horizontally at the top of the head to mark the
limit of the area to be cut.
Comb it downwards and split it into 2 or 3 horizontal layers.
Use clips to hold the upper layer or layers.
Comb the bottom layer and hold it with your fingers, leaving the length you
want to cut below them.
Trim off the excess part, always below the fingers. Do the same with the
other layers.
TRIMMING BEARDS AND MOUSTACHES
Set the comb accessory to the desired position. We recommend that you
start off with one of the longest positions (position 12-13) and change it as
required.
