• Remember to comb the hair frequently as you are cutting it.

• To cut the HAIR EVENLY, allow the clipper ADVANCE SMOOTHLY through the

hair. Do not attempt to force it.

• It is better to cut a little than too much. Begin with the maximum cutting

length position (position 13).

• We recommend that you make a note of the cutting level selected each time,

so that you can repeat the same hairstyle on other occasions if you wish.

BEFORE STARTING TO CUT

1. Check that the clipper is clean and that there are no traces of hair between

the blades, as this could prevent it from working properly. Do this by first

removing the comb accessory and then taking out the blade Fig.1 (2) by

pulling it upwards and clean both the blade and the inside of the appliance

using the brush supplied Fig.1 (6).

2. Sit the person whose hair you are going to cut so that their head is level

with your eyes.

3. Untangle the hair and comb it in its natural direction.

TO START CUTTING

• The first time you use the clipper, cut a small amount of hair until you get

used to the length of each comb accessory position. We recommend that

you begin with the maximum cutting length position and change to lower

positions if shorter cuts are required.

• To change the position of the comb accessory Fig.1 (1), press the adjusting

buttons Fig.1 (4) up or down according to the desired position. Use the

indicator Fig.1 (5) to check the selected level.

• If you want to use the clipper without the comb accessory, press the adjust-

ing button Fig.1 (4) to its position 1 and, keeping it pressed, pull the comb

accessory with the other hand to remove it from the appliance.

• Place the ON/OFF switch Fig.1 (3) in the ON position.

• Place the hair clipper in the off position “0” and place it on its charging base

Fig.1(12). Connect the adapter Fig.1(11) to the charging base.

• Plug the adapter Fig.1(11) into the mains socket.

• The pilot light Fig.1(13)) will light up red during the charging operation.

• The hair clipper will take 24 hours to charge the first time.

• The clipper can only be charged when the switch is in the ‘0’ position.

• When charging or recharging the hair clipper, the room temperature should

not be below 15

C or above 35

C, as this may affect battery life.

• 10 hours’ charging time when recharging the appliance will give about 100

minutes’ operating time.
