3. Set Alert Tone
There are three audible settings to choose from:
Hard Tone
Soft Tone
Off
To select your alert tone:
Press the ‘OK’ control when ‘Set Alert Tone’ is
displayed in the menu option.
Highlight your desired option by pushing the
‘OK’ control upwards or downwards.
Once your desired setting is highlighted press the
‘OK’ control to save the new setting. The unit will
display ‘Setting Confirmed’.
4. Speed Limit Alert
This safety feature has been designed to let you program your Snooper Sapphire to alert you when you reach
any speed you choose. For instance you could set your unit to alert you when your speed reaches 30mph so
that you never accidentally stray over the speed limit.
To set the speed limit alert:
Press the ‘OK’ control when ‘Speed Limit Alert’ is
displayed in the menu options.
Highlight ‘ON’ by pushing the ‘OK’ control
upwards and then press the ‘OK’ control.
Push the ‘OK’ control upwards to increase the
speed limit or downwards to decrease the
speed limit.
Once your desired setting is displayed press
the ‘OK’ control to save the new setting. The unit
will display ‘Setting Confirmed.
Note: The speed limit alert will only activate once you exceed your speed limit setting. If you remain
above your speed limit you will not receive another alert until your speed drops below your speed limit
setting and you then increase your speed again.
5. Voice Alerts
The Snooper Sapphire has a selectable voice alert which is switched ‘ON’ by default. This facility allows your
unit to inform you to exactly what type of location you are approaching without you having to take your eyes
from the road. The unit also indicates the posted speed limit for that location.
To alter the settings for voice alerts:
Press the ‘OK’ control when ‘Voice Alerts’ is
displayed in the menu options.
Highlight your desired option (‘ON’ or ‘OFF’) by
pushing the ‘OK’ control upwards or downwards.
Once you have highlighted your desired setting
press the ‘OK’ control. The unit will display
‘Setting Confirmed’ indicating the setting has
been saved.
Note: If voice alerts are turned ‘OFF’ the unit will
alert you to the location of a Fixed Speed Safety
camera by a series of beeps. The visual display will
remain the same.
