M200SC Administrator and Provisioning Manual Conﬁguration using the Web user interface (WebUI)

Setting Description

Base Firmware URL The URL where the M200SC base station ﬁrmware update ﬁle resides.

This should be a full path, including the ﬁlename of the ﬁrmware ﬁle.

Handset Firmware URL The URL where the handset ﬁrmware update ﬁle resides. This should be a

full path, including the ﬁlename of the ﬁrmware ﬁle.

Server authentica-

tion name

Authentication username for the ﬁrmware server

Server authentica-

tion password

Authentication password for the ﬁrmware server

To update the base station ﬁrmware immediately, click ; to update the handset ﬁrmware

immediately, click .

Note: The handset ﬁrmware update is installed on the base station. The registered handsets

themselves are then updated over-the-air from the ﬁrmware installed on the base station. See

"Updating handset ﬁrmware" on page 51.

Manual Firmware Update and Upload

On the Manual Firmware Update Settings page, you can upgrade the M200SC and handset ﬁrmware using a ﬁle

located on your computer or local network.

Note: The handset ﬁrmware update is installed on the base station. The registered handsets

themselves are then updated over-the-air from the ﬁrmware installed on the base station.

• Updating base station ﬁrmware

1. Under the setting Base File Name, click to locate and open the ﬁrmware update ﬁle.

2. Click

. The M200SC will update its ﬁrmware and restart.

• Updating handset ﬁrmware

1. Under the setting Handset File Name, click to locate and open the ﬁrmware update

ﬁle.

2. Click

. The M200SC will update the handset ﬁrmware and restart.
