the neckline, divide
into
three sections,
right, centre straight and
left

each
section separatley.

Read
on the Stitch Scale the number
of
needles
for
centre straight and either
of
right
or
left
sections, opposite the carriage and push up
those needles
to
D position
for
holding stitches.

the needles in B position, decrease the
stitches at the neck and continue partial knit-
ting on the shoulder, up to the neck point.

At
the neck
point,
break the yarn leaving the end three times the
width
of
the shoulder, and unthread
the yarn. With waste yarn
knit
several rows and remove the section
from
the Knitter.
Push
the empty
needles back
to
A position.

Return the Pattern Paper
to
the neckline and
read
the number
of
stitches
for
the centre straight.
Push
those needles back
to
C position and
put
a yarn mark at the centre (0)
of
the Needle Bed. Set the Change
Dial
to
~
mark and
knit
several rows
of
waste
knitting
for
those needles
inC
position. Then remove the
section
from
the
Knitter
and push the
empty
needles back
to
A position.

For
the second should-er, apply the
same
techniques
as
done
for
the first shoulder,
but
in a
reverse
shaping manner
as
follows.
a)
Have the Carriage on the side
of
the first completed shoulder and re-set the Change Dial
to
the original
setting.
b)
Read
the number
of
needles on the Stitch Scale which represent the remaining part
of
the shoulder, and
push them back
to
C position.
c)
Thread the main yarn
into
the Yarn Feeder and
knit
shaping the neck
edge
by decreasing stitches and
the shoulder by partial
knitting
by decreasing.
