(1)
After
working
waste
khitting,
knit
one
row
with
the Ravel Cord.
* With the
Stitch
Dial
set
1 number lower
(if
the original number
is
5,
set
at 4.),
knit
twice the depth
of
the hem.
(2) Pick up the sinker loops
from
the
first
row
of
the main
knitting
and place them
onto
the corresponding
needles.
* With the Stitch Dial
set
2 numbers larger,
knit
one row.
(3) Set the
Stitch
Dial
to
the original number and continue
to
knit.
After
the
knitting
has
been
completed,
pull the Ravel Cord
to
remove the waste
knitting
.

For
hems, waistband and cuffs.
Knit twice

e depth
of hem.

Push
up the required number
of
needles
to
8 position. With the aid
of
Needle Pusher, push every-other
needle back
to
A position. .
* Cast on and
knit
several rows
of
waste
knitting,
knit
one
row
with
the Ravel Cord.
* Before starting
to
knit,
set
the Stitch Dial
3-4
numbers lower than the original number.
Knit
twice the
number
of
rows than those required
for
the depth
of
the welt.
(2)
Push
up the needles
that
were pushed back
to
A position
to
8 position. Pick up the sinker loops on the
first
row
and place them
onto
the
empty
needles in B position.
(3) Re-set
the
Stitch Dial
to
the original number and
continue
to
knit
in stockinet. Pull
out
the
Ravel
Cord
to
remove the waste
knitting.
* In order
to
shape the
welt
beautifully,
insert a ruler-like object
into
the side opening and stretch
it
vertically, then iron it.
* By varying the needle selection, K2.

and K3.
P1
rib
can
also
be
made. (Recommended Stitch Dial
number
for
