8.5 Forvarmning af kopper
Når apparatet er driftsklar, opvarmes var-
mepladen3.
Stil kopperne på varmepladen3 for at
forvarme dem.
Alternativt kan du bruge den kop, du vil for-
varme til skylning. Således kan du forvarme
bryggehoved14, si1/2 og siholder16
og koppen i ét arbejdsskridt.
En anden mulighed er forvarmning med
varmt vand fra dampdysen10 (se “Udtag-
ning af varmt vand” på side 255).
8.6 Forvarmning af si og
bryggehoved (skylle)
Skyl direkte inden enhver tilberedning si-
en

med varmt
vand. På grund af denne forvarmning af si og
bryggehoved (skylle) forbedres espressoens
smag.
Forudsætning: apparatet er driftsklar. LED-
ringene17,18 lyser konstant.
1. Indsæt siholderen16 med den valgte
si1/2 uden espressopulver under
bryggehovedet14.
- Indsæt siholderen16 med håndtaget
ved T.
- Drej siholderens16 håndtag til højre
T.
2. Stil en kop under siholderen16.
3. Tryk på knappen 18.
-LED-ringen 18 blinker.
-LED-ringen 17 slukker.
- Der løber varmt vand gennem sihol-
deren16 i koppen.
4. Når processen er afsluttet, lyser LED-rin-
gene17,18 igen konstant.
5. Drej siholderens16 håndtag til venstre
T og tag det af nedad.
6. Lad det varme vand blive i koppen til
forvarmning og smid det væk direkte in-
den brygningen.
7. Tør siholderen16 med si1/2 af.
9. Afmåling af
stampning af
espressopulver
ANVISNINGER:
Vær ved køb af espressopulver op-
mærksom på, at malegraden er egnet
til maskiner med siholder. Malegraden
skal være fin. Dette står ofte på embal-
lagen.
Til en enkelt espresso skal du bruge
ca. 7 - 9 g espressopulver, til en dob-
belt ca. 14 - 18 g.
Målet med stampningen er at komprimere
espressopulveret ensartet i sien1/2. Espres-
sopulverets overflade skal være jævn og fri
for revner, så vandet presses ensartet gen-
nem espressopulveret ved ekstraktionen.
Revner eller tynde steder fører til, at vandet
hurtigere finder vej her („channeling“) - på
bekostning af smagen.
