8. Cleaning

Clean the device prior to its first use!

8.1 Instant cleaning of the

blender jug

1. Figure B: place the blender jug|4 on

the motor block|7. The arrow T must

point to the symbol at the bottom of

the blender jug.

2. Fill some warm water and detergent

into the blender jug|4

3. Figure B: close the blender jug|4 with

the lid|2.

4. Figure B: turn the lid|2 fully into the

handle|5 in order to firmly connect it to

the blender jug and close the safety de-

vice|3.

5. If necessary, turn the marker stripe of

the control dial|9 to 0.

6. Insert the measuring jug|1 into the

lid|2 and lock it by turning it clockwise.

7. Figure B: lock the blender jug|4 by

rotating through a short distance. The

arrow T at the bottom of the blender

jug points to the symbol.

8. Insert the mains plug|10 into a wall

socket corresponding to the technical

data.

9. Rotate the control dial|9 several times

for a few seconds to the left to P and

then release it.

10. Disconnect the mains plug|10 from the

wall socket.

11. Once the motor has come to a com-

plete standstill, remove the blender

jug|4 from the motor block|7. Lift the

blender jug|4 vertically upwards.

12. Remove the lid|2 from the blender

jug|4.

13. Empty the blender jug|4 and rinse it

with clean water.

8.2 Cleaning all parts of the

device

DANGER! Risk of electric

shock!

~ The motor block|7, the power cable

and the mains plug|10 must not be im-

mersed in water or any other liquids.

DANGER! Risk of injury from

cutting!

~ The blades of the blade assembly|6 are

sharp. Please be very careful when han-

dling them.

~ For manual cleaning, the water should

be sufficiently clear so that you can see

the blade assembly|6 easily.

WARNING! Risk of material dam-

age!

~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive

cleaning agents.

~ All parts except for the motor block|7

are dishwasher-safe up to 70 °C.

1. If necessary, disconnect the mains

plug|10 from the wall socket.

2. Remove the blender jug|4 from the mo-

tor block|7.

3. Remove the lid|2 from the blender

jug|4.

The motor block|7 must not be im-

mersed in water.

4. If necessary, wipe down the motor

block|7 and the power cable|10 with

a damp cloth. Ensure that the motor

block|7 is completely dry before the

next time it is used.
