Place the hairdressing cape 15 around the

neck and nape to prevent bits of hair from

falling into the collar.

Begin by using the longer comb attachment 11

and trim the hair gradually to the desired length.

Note that the desired trim length can only be

achieved if the product is held perpendicularly

to the skin‘s surface.

Avoid making sudden movements when

trimming.

Switch the product on by pressing the ON/OFF

button 3 b once. To maximize performance,

press the ON/OFF button 3 b one more time.

The Turbo display

will appear on the displ

if this is the case.

Switch the product oﬀ by pressing the

ON/OFF

button 3 b once or twice until the indicator light

3 a goes oﬀ.

Activate the travel lock function by long pressing

the ON/OFF button 3 b 3–5 seconds. Then

travel lock display 9 a will light up.

Deactivate the travel lock function by long pres-

sing the ON/OFF button 3 b 3–5 seconds.

Then the product will switch on and the travel

lock display 9 a will go oﬀ.

Always trim from the nape in the direction of

the top of the head, or from the forehead and

temples towards the centre of the head.

Guide the product slowly and steadily through

the hair. If possible, trim against the direction

of the hair‘s growth.

While doing so, hold the product in such a

way that the selected comb attachment 11 is

positioned as level as possible.

Move the product over the head several times

to collect all of the hair. To achieve a straight

line, move the product through the hair several

times from diﬀerent directions.

Comb the hair repeatedly.

You can graduate the desired trim length of the

comb attachment 11 more accurately by rota-

ting the lower part of the product 5 according

to length position indicator

. These gradati

ons

diﬀer by 0.3 mm.

Comb attachment 3.0 mm

(trim length 3.8–5 mm):

Furthermost left

position (0.8 mm): short hair (3.8 mm)

Middle

position (1.4 mm): mid-length hair (4.4 mm)
