NOTE: After switching off, the fan continues to run

for approx. 10 seconds. This is to cool down the

heating elements.

To disconnect the unit from the power supply, switch

off the unit with the on/off switch 2 .

4.3 System time setting (time and day)

Press the timer button 7 on the unit or the

DAY button 17 on the remote control.

The day indicator in the display

flashes.

Now use the plus 4 / 11

and minus button

5 / 18

to set the day of the week accor-

ding to the table shown below.

SUN Sunday

MON Monday

TUE Tuesday

WED Wednesday

THU Thursday

FRI Friday

SAT Saturday

When you have set the day of the week, press

the timer button

on the unit or the (HOUR)

button

on the remote control once.

The ﬁrst two digits of the time display on the dis-

play 9 flash. Use the plus 4 / 11 and

minus button 5 / 18 to set the hours in 24h

format first.

When you have set the hours, press the timer

button 7 on the unit or the (MIN) button

14 on the remote control once.

The last two digits of the time display on the dis-

play

flash. Use the plus

4 / 11

and

minus button

5 / 18

to set the minutes.

When you have set the minutes, press the timer

button

on the unit for the last time to com-

plete the system time setting or simply wait 10

seconds.

If the mains plug is pulled out of the socket or the

on/off switch 2

is set to the "0" position, the system

time setting will be lost. You must make these settings

again.

EXAMPLE: The following image shows 13:45 as

the current time and Wednesday as the current day

of the week.

4.4 Fireplace lighting

With the fireplace illumination you can adjust the

brightness of the flame effect. To do this, press the

button on the unit 8 or the button on the

remote control 12 to set the intensity of the flame

effect. There are 5 different lighting levels available.

The fireplace lighting cannot be switched off com-

pletely. The symbols are shown on the dis-

play 9 . Depending on the selected lighting level,

the corresponding bars on the display or

only the flame symbol will light up.

NOTE: The flame effect is independent of the hea-

ting function.

NOTE: The fireplace lighting cannot be switched off

completely.
