Under no circumstances may the appliance or parts of it be submersed

To simplify cleaning, dismantle the deep fat fryer:
1) Open the appliance lid. Push a rod or similar into the holes on the hinge
mountings on the rear of the appliance and pull the lid up and out of the
hinge mountings at the same time:
2) Remove the frying basket (or the small frying baskets 3).
■ The frying baskets /3 can be cleaned in the dishwasher. They are suitable
for dishwashers. However, remove the handles - beforehand.
■ Clean the handles - in warm water using a mild detergent. Then rinse off
with clear water.
