• Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried
out by children unless they are older than 8 years old and supervised. Keep the packaging out of the
reach of these people. There is a risk of suffocation.
• Only use the grill if you are in full possession of your physical and mental capacities. The grill may not
be used under the influence of alcohol, medication or drugs or when tired or ill. There is a risk of injury!
• Never leave the grill unattended when in use.
• Keep children younger than 8 years away from the device and its power cable. There is a risk of injury!
• If the power cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer
service or a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid any possible danger.
• Make other users aware of the potential hazards of using the grill.
Risk of injury or fire
• If there is a power cut while the device is in use, remove the food from the grill. The grill casing can
get very hot because the fans (4) are not working. There is a risk of getting burnt!
• Keep the device away from flammable materials when in use. Fire hazard!
• Make sure that the food you are grilling never comes into contact with the heating element (6) in the
grill compartment. The extremely high temperatures could cause the food to catch light. Fire hazard!
• The grill compartment gets very hot. Never touch the hot components. There is a risk of getting burnt!
• Always use the handle (9) to remove the grill tray (11). There is a risk of getting burnt!
• If the device is not used as intended, grease and oil can ignite. Never extinguish a fire with water. This
could cause an explosion-like detonation which could result in life-threatening burns. To extinguish a
fat fire, first disconnect the mains plug. Then extinguish using a suitable extinguishing agent, e.g. a fire
extinguisher for fat fires, a fire blanket or sand. Risk of burns and explosion!
Risk of damage to property
• Place the grill on an easily accessible, stable surface which is flat and heat-resistant. Risk of damage
to property!
• Please note: When you remove the grill tray (11) or the grease collection tray (10), grease or liquid
can drip down from the food. Risk of damage to property!
• Keep the grill away from hot surfaces. Risk of damage to property!
• If you notice damage to the grill or its accessories, do not continue to use it. Damaged parts must be
replaced with original spare parts. Contact the manufacturer’s customer services.
