Wash the comb attachment 11 , the thinning
attachment 12 or the cutting unit 1 with run-
ning water if necessary.
Dry the comb attachment 11 or the thinning
attachment 12 .
Remove the cutting unit 1 (see Fig. H).
Remove any remaining bits of hair from the
cutting unit 1 using the cleaning brush 13
provided (see Fig. I).
Apply one or two drops of blade oil 14
bet ween the blades and the moving parts
(see Fig. J).
Adjust the length position indicator 4 to
2.0 mm after you have finished cleaning the
product, before once more attaching the
cutting unit 1 to the product (see Fig. K).
Note: Clean the cutting unit 1, comb attach-
ment 11 and thinning attachment 12 after
every use.
Storage
Place the product in the charging base 6 if
you wish to store it. Alternatively, you can also
store it in the travel case 16 provided.

2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return
the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the
product to the available collection points.

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be dis-
posed of with the usual domestic waste. They may
contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to haz-
ardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The
chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is
why you should dispose of used batteries / recharge-
able batteries at a local collection point.
