10. First steps with Silk’n SensEpil™
10.1. Silk’n SensEpil™ Setup
1. Remove Silk’n SensEpil™ BASE UNIT, APPLICATOR and other components from box.
2. Verify that the
DISPOSABLE LAMP CARTRIDGE is inserted correctly into the APPLICATOR.
3. Plug the power cord into the Silk’n SensEpil™
BASE UNIT socket.
4. Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet. The
STAND BY INDICATOR LIGHT
will turn on.
Your Silk’n SensEpil™ is now ready to start.
9.3. Plan your Silk’n SensEpil™ hair removal for best results
A typical full hair growth cycle may take 18-24 months. During this time multiple Silk’n SensEpil™ sessions may be required in order
to achieve long term hair removal.
The efficiency of hair removal varies from person to person according to body area, hair color, and how Silk’n SensEpil™ is used.
Typical Silk’n SensEpil™ hair removal plan during a full hair growth cycle:
The first 3-4 hair removal sessions with Silk’n SensEpil™ will be approximately two weeks apart.
Hair removal sessions 5-7 with Silk’n SensEpil™ will be approximately four weeks apart.
After that you will typically use Silk’n SensEpil™ again from time to time if and when needed, until long-term results are achieved.
This is the recommended treatment schedule that has proven to produce the best results, but you may plan your personal
treatment schedule differently and still get satisfactory results.
Note that treating the same body part more often than once in two weeks, will not improve hair removal results.
Typical maintenance with Silk’n SensEpil™ after achieving long-term hair removal:
Due to hormonal or other physiological changes dormant hair follicles may become active. Maintenance hair removal sessions with
Silk’n SensEpil™ may be required from time to time.
