Tea programmes - Steeping times and temperatures
The optimal infusion times largely depend on the type of
tea used and on personal taste.
The tea programme provides for the following pre-set
temperatures and steeping times (mild-strong):
BLACK black tea : 100 °C 3-5 mins
GREEN tea : 80 °C 2-3 mins
WHITE white tea : 85 °C 2-3 mins

OOLONG Ooolong tea : 90 °C 3-4 mins
Conrm the selection by pressing the TEA START/
STOP button. The button lights up blue.
The kettle heats the water in intervals to the
programmed temperature.
Once the temperature has been reached, the heating
element switches off, and the tea lter comes down.
Once the steeping time has elapsed, the lter moves up
again, beep signals are heard and the appliance goes
into stand-by mode.
This process can be interrupted anytime by pressing the
TEA START/STOP button.
Pour the tea and allow the appliance to cool down. Then
take out the tea lter by its ring, and empty and rinse it.
If necessary, rinse the water container (see Cleaning
and care).
