Important safety instructions
Before the appliance is used, the main
body as well as any attachment tted
should be checked thoroughly for any
defects. Should the appliance, for instance,
have been dropped onto a hard surface,
it must not be used any longer: even
invisible damage may have adverse e ects
on the operational safety of the appliance.
e power cord should be regularly
examined for any signs of damage. In the
event of such damage being found, the
appliance must no longer be used.
Do not operate the appliance if excessive
force has been used to pull the power
cord. Damage cannot always be detected
from the outside; the entire unit should
therefore be checked by a quali ed
technician before it is used again.
e surfaces of the egg boiler become hot
during use. Grip the hot appliance only by
its handle.
Beware of escaping steam from the lid.
Be careful when using the egg-piercer, as
there may be a risk of injury.
Do not leave the appliance unattended
while in use.

keep the cord well away from any hot
parts of the appliance.
Always remove the plug from the wall
