må bagemaskinen efterses af en

5. Brødet er blevet alt for højt.
Formindsk den mængde af gær, vand og
mel, der benyttes.
6. Brødet er ikke hævet godt nok.
Forøg mængden af gær, vand og
sødestof. Sørg for at benytte den rigtige
rækkefølge når ingredienserne hældes i
bageformen: først de flydende
ingredienser, så de tørre og til sidst
gæren.
Bemærk: brød bagt af rugmel eller
grahamsmel plejer at hæve mindre end
brød bagt af hvedemel.
7. Brødet falder sammen efter at bagningen
er begyndt.
Dejen har været for let. Mængden af gær
eller væske må reduceres en smule, eller
prøv at benytte et program med kortere
hævetid. Man kan også forsøge at øge
saltmængden.
8. Dejen er alt for blød og klistret.
Dejens konsistens kan gøres mere
smidig hvis der tilsættes en skefuld mel
under æltningen.
9. Dejen er meget tung at ælte.
Tilsæt en spiseskefuld vand under
æltningen.
