Switching off the cooking zones

 Press the button at the side of the power level

indicator: the power of the cooking zone will

progressively decrease until it is switched off.

 Alternatively, the

and buttons may be pressed

simultaneously. The cooking zone will switch off.

Programming the cooking zones

Cooking programme duration

! The cooking zone must be switched on.

! All the cooking zones may be programmed for a

length of time between 1 minute and 3 hours.

1. Press the

button at the side of

the display which corresponds to the hotplate you

wish to programme.

2. Press the

and buttons at the side of the

display to select the DURATION command and press

OK to confirm.

4. Adjust the minutes by pressing the

and buttons.

5. Press OK to confirm.

6. Select the EXIT command and press OK to confirm.

This setting will be memorised.

! If the setting is not confirmed by pressing the OK

button within 20 seconds, the duration will be

memorised automatically.

! During the setting process, press the

and

buttons at the side of the display to reset the time

value to zero.

The timer begins counting down immediately. A

buzzer sounds for approximately 1 minute and the

cooking zone switches off when the set programme

has finished.

Repeat the above procedure for each hotplate you

wish to programme.

! The buzzer may be stopped by pressing any

button on the hob.

Power level

! The cooking zone must be switched off.

Enables a pre-set power level top be selected when

the cooking zone is switched on.

1. Press the

button at the side of

the display which corresponds to the hotplate you

wish to programme.

2. The display will show the menu dedicated to that

cooking zone.

3. Press the

and buttons to select the POWER

LEVEL command and press OK to confirm.

4. The display will present the following options:

DEFAULT: factory setting

HIGH: maximum power

MEDIUM: 50% power

LOW: minimum power.

5. Press the

and buttons to select the desired option

and press OK to confirm. This setting will be memorised.

6. Select the EXIT command and press OK to confirm.

For example: if the MEDIUM option has been selected by

pressing the

or buttons at the side of the power level

indicator, the hotplate will switch on at half power.

Memorising information

! The cooking zone must be switched off.

! A single sequence for all the cooking zones may

be memorised.

! The maximum duration of this entry is 3 and a half

hours.

! It is not possible to recall more than one memo

function at a time.

It enables an entire cooking cycle to be recorded.

This includes power levels and all relevant durations.

1. Press the

button at the side of

the display which corresponds to the hotplate you

wish to programme.

2. The display will show the menu dedicated to that

cooking zone.

3. Press the

and buttons to select the MEMORISE

command and press OK to confirm.

4. The display will present the following options:

RECORD: enables the memorisation process to

begin.

CANCEL: enables the user to exit the memorise

function.

This function boosts the power of the relevant zone

to 3000 W.

It stops automatically after 4 minutes. While the booster

is activated, the relevant front or rear cooking zone has

a maximum power of 600 W (e.g. if the right rear

hotplate booster is activated, the power of the right front

hotplate decreases). Higher power levels are indicated

by the flashing of the excess power levels, which will be

restored after the booster function has stopped.
