Cooking with Cookeye®
When the contents of the pan reach the optimal
temperature, the hobs buzzer will sound, giving two
beeps every second. Putting food in the pan or
pressing the - and + buttons for the appropriate
hotplate will stop the buzzer (within 6 seconds).
For the WATER, MILK and SAUCE functions, cooking
takes place automatically, maintaining a constant
temperature until the programme time runs out. For the
BUTTER and OIL functions, manual control is resumed
to make temperature-setting more flexible. It is also
possible to programme the cooking time for these
functions. If nothing is done with the manual controls,
the automatic control maintains its temperature and the
buzzer continues to sound. If you do not interrupt the
automatic process within ten minutes, the hotplate
switches off.
It is possible to return to manual control at any
moment, regardless of the chosen function. Press the
- and + buttons simultaneously to interrupt
automatic control (all the power indicator lights will
flash).
! Do not use Cookeye® with a lid over the cookware or
a utensil inside it (ladle, spoon, whisk, etc.). Avoid
steam from the pan being blown towards the
Cookeye® lens, as this could disrupt its observation
function.
Programming with Cookeye®
! It is possible to programme minutes and seconds if
the total cooking time required is less than an hour. If
cooking time is over an hour, it is possible to
programme hours and minutes.
1. Activate Cookeye® as directed.
2. Press the
button corresponding to the hotplate
you want to programme.
3. Set the cooking time using the - and + buttons.
4. Confirm the settings by pressing the
button.
The set cooking time will flash until the correct
temperature for the selected function has been
reached. Once the food is inside the pan or one of the
- and + buttons has been pressed, the timer will
begin to count down. At the end of the cooking
programme, the buzzer sounds and the hotplate
switches off.
Switching off the Cookeye®
Press and hold the red button for 3 seconds.
Clipso Eye function
The Clipso Eye module should be used with the Clipso
Control pan to automatically regulate pressure and to
automatically switch the hotplate off after the cooking
programme has ended.
Starting the Clipso Eye function
! The Clipso Eye module can only be used with the
Clipso Control pan.
1) Insert the Clipso Eye into the space provided in the
Clipso pan.
2) Switch on the hob and put the Clipso pan on one of
the rear cooking zones.
3) Press the on/off button on the Clipso Eye. The
power indicators for the two rear hotplates flash and
the Clipso Eye function indicator light will switch on.
4) Select one of the 3 cooking programmes on the lid
of the Clipso pan.
5) Set the cooking time.
