The necessary tools and small parts for assembling
the saw on a workbench are not supplied with
the saw. However, use equipment of at least the
following size:
1 Saw body
2 Foam rubber base
3 Work bench
4 Flat seal
5 Washer (7 mm)
6 Hexagonal nut (6 mm)
7 Lock nut (6 mm)
8 Hexagon head screws (6 mm)
First of all, drill holes into the seating surface and
then insert the screws.
A foam rubber base for reduction of noise is
not supplied with the saw either. However, we
expressly recommend that you use such a base to
keep vibration and noise to a minimum. Ideal size
400 x 240 mm.
CHANGING THE SAW BLADES
Warning: Switch off the saw and remove the
mains supply plug before installing saw b!ades
in order to avoid injuries caused by unintentiona!
activation of the saw.
Saw-blade removal, g. 9-12
Extract the saw-blade by sliding the table’s inlay
up, then unscrew the tightening screw (1).
First ease the tension by lifting the clamping lever
(Fig. 9) upwards and if necessary turning it anti-
clockwise to further reduce the tension.
Slightly press the upper arm down (g. 10).
Then, rst loosen the upper blade clamping screw
(Figure 11, A), and then the lower clamping screw
with an Allen key.
Inserting the saw-blade:
The teeth of the saw blade must always point down-
wards.
Fix the blade rst in the lower clamp. To x the
blade, securely tighten the blade clamping screw
(Figure 11, A) with an Allen key.
Press the upper arm of the saw slightly downwards
(Fig. 10) and fasten the other end of the saw blade
in the upper clamp.
Tighten the blade with the clamping lever (Fig. 12)
by pressing it down again. Check the tension of the
blade. If the tension is too low, increase it by turning
clockwise. First slacken the clamping lever again.
Insert the table insert.

To remove the saw blade, lift the table insert
upwards
Ease the tension with the clamping lever (Fig. 9).
Remove the saw-blade from the upper and lower
support by slightly pressing the saw´s upper arm
down (g. 10).

7. Installation
Setting the saw bench, Fig. 3
Setting the angle scale
Release the star button and bring the saw bench
(Fig. 3, A) to a right angle (Fig. 3, B) in relation to
the saw blade.
Use a 90° angle tc measure the right angle between
the blade and the bench. The saw blade be 90° to
the angle.
Close the star button again when the distance
between the blade and the 90° angle is at a
minimum. The bench should then be at 90° to the
saw blade.
Release the lock screw (Fig. 3, C) and bring the
indicator to the zero position. Fasten the screw.
Please note: the angle scale is a useful piece of
supplementary equip ment, but should not be used
for precision work. Use scrap wood for saw tests,
adjust the bench if neces sary.
Note: The bench should not be on the motor
block, this can cause undesireable noise.

The saw bench can be positioned into a 450
diagonal position or be left in the horizontal
position.
You can read off the approximate slope angle
by using the angle scale located under the work
bench. For more exact adjustment, use scrap wood
for some saw tests; adjust the bench if necessary.

Assemble the workpiece holder (Fig. 5, A) to the
clamp (Fig. 5, B) as shown in the image. This must
be xed rst to the machine with the tommy screw
(Fig. 5, C).
Secure the blade guard with the screw and nut.

Screw the exi-hose into the opening provided and
tighten it hand-tight.

A workbench made from solid wood is betier than
one made of plywood, as interfering vibrations and
noise are more noticeable with plywood.
