7. UTILISATION DE LA MACHINE
i. Rabotage de pièces

- Régler la hauteur de la table raboteuse. (cf. «Réglage de la
hauteur de rabotage»)
- Positionner sur la table raboteuse (D) le chant déjà
dégauchi en soutenant bien la pièce pour éviter de créer un
«talon».
- Engager l’extrémité de la planche de bois jusqu’à ce qu’elle
soit entraînée par les rouleaux entraîneurs (Z).
- Laisser passer la planche sans la pousser.
- Recommencer l’opération jusqu’à obtenir une face bien
dégauchie.
- En fin de passe, soutenir la planche pour éviter que l’outil
ne crée un «talon» à l’extrémité de celle-ci. (43)
Important : Un talon de 1/10 de mm peut être toléré.
2. Rabotage du second chant (42)
- En cas de travail en série, passer successivement toutes
les planches à la même épaisseur, sans rien changer au
réglage ;
puis recommencer le cycle jusqu’à obtenir l’épaisseur
désirée.

Important : La machine n’est pas prévue pour effectuer
d’autres utilisations que de dégauchir ou raboter.
Il est donc interdit de profiler, tenonner, mortaiser et de faire
des feuillures.
