10. Electrical connection
The electrical motor installed is connected and
ready for operation. The
connection complies with the applicable VDE and
DIN provisions. The customer‘s mains connec-
tion as well as the extension cable used must
also comply with these regulations.
Damaged electrical connection cable
The insulation on electrical connection cables is often
damaged.
This may have the following causes:
Passage points, where connection cables are
passed through windows or doors.
Kinks where the connection cable has been im-
properly fastened or routed.
Places where the connection cables have been cut
due to being driven over.
Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the
wall outlet.
Cracks due to the insulation ageing.
Such damaged electrical connection cables must not
be used and are
life-threatening due to the insulation damage.
Check the electrical connection cables for damage
regularly. Make sure that the
connection cable does not hang on the power net-
work during the inspection.
Electrical connection cables must comply with the
applicable VDE and DIN provisions. Only use con-
nection cables with the marking “H05VV-F“.
The printing of the type designation on the connec-
tion cable is mandatory.
AC motor
The mains voltage must be 230-240 V~.
Extension cables up to 25 m length must have a
cross section of 2.5 mm2 .
Connections and repairs of electrical equipment may
only be carried out by an
electrician.
Please provide the following information in the event
of any enquiries:
Type of current for the motor
Machine rating plate
high-pressure cleaner switches on.
Releasing the trigger (B) switches off the device.
The high pressure in the system is maintained.
You can lock and unlock the trigger (B) of the spray
gun (10) by pressing the locking button (C).
Locking the trigger (B) will ensure that the device is
not started unintentionally.
If there are leaks in the water system, switch the
device off immediately with the On/Off switch (6) and
disconnect the device from the mains. There is a risk
of electric shock! Check the connection of all water
connections and accessories.
Using the accessories (Fig. F):
Patio cleaner (12):
The patio cleaner (12) is suitable for cleaning
ground and wall surfaces without splashing.
Only activate the patio cleaner (12) once it is fully
in contact with the surface to be cleaned.
Do not guide the patio cleaner (12) over free-stan-
ding corners or edges.
The patio cleaner (12) is not suitable for scrubbing
or scraping
Cleaning agent container (13):
Use only cleaning agents that are expressly intended
for use in high-pressure
cleaners.
The cleaning agent container (13) is suitable for
spraying cleaning agent e.g. onto cars.
Fill the cleaning agent container (13) with the cor-
responding cleaner.
The cleaning agent is dosed automatically in low-
pressure operation.
Variable nozzle (16):
The variable nozzle (16) is suitable for cleaning
work on cars for example.
The width of the water jet can be adjusted by tur-
ning the variable nozzle (16).
Pausing operation (Fig. A / F):
Release the trigger (B) on the spray gun (10).
With longer breaks, switch off the device with the
On/Off switch (5).
Finishing operation (Fig. A / F):
Release the trigger (B) on the spray gun (10).
Switch off the device with the On/Off switch (5).
Turn off the water tap
Press the trigger (B) on the spray gun (10) to allow
the residual pressure to dissipate.
Pull out the mains plug and wind the mains cable
(2) onto the cable winding cleat (3).
Disconnect the high-pressure cleaner from the
water supply.
